Sandy Schwal­bach CEO/COO
As the Chief Exec­u­tive Offi­cer of Now Courier, Sandy spends most of her time work­ing on the strate­gic direc­tion of the Com­pany to ensure we remain a leader in the courier and logis­tics indus­tries and poised for con­tin­ual growth and improve­ment. Under her direc­tion as COO, Now Courier has a cul­ture and infra­struc­ture in place which pro­vides indus­try expe­ri­ence, proven tech­nol­ogy, state of the art com­mu­ni­ca­tion equip­ment, and excel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice. The strate­gic loca­tion of each of our eight offices pro­vides improved oper­at­ing effi­cien­cies and costs for our clients. Prior to her cur­rent role, Sandy spent 26 years in Cor­po­rate Amer­ica with Proc­ter & Gam­ble in Cincin­nati, OH and Walt Dis­ney Con­sumer Prod­ucts, Bur­bank, CA. Sandy has a Busi­ness degree from More­head State Uni­ver­sity. She is a mem­ber of NAWBO (National Asso­ci­a­tion of Women Owned Busi­nesses), Exec­u­tive Women in Health­care, MCAA (National Mes­sen­ger & Courier Asso­ci­a­tion) and serves on the foun­da­tion board for a local non-for-profit health­care organization.

Mike Schwal­bach Founder and Pres­i­dent
Mike Schwal­bach was one of the orig­i­nal founders of Now Courier, Inc. in Jan­u­ary, 1986. He was very instru­men­tal in devel­op­ing the vision and growth of the Com­pany which has grown from 3 employ­ees when the Indi­anapo­lis Office opened to the cur­rent 90 employ­ees, 8 loca­tions and 600+ Inde­pen­dent Con­trac­tors. His goal was not so much to have the largest courier com­pany in Indi­ana, but to have the best courier com­pany in the Mid­west region. He wanted excel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice, high qual­ity dri­vers, top of the line tech­nol­ogy, and an over­all great com­pany to be a part of. Through­out his many years of ded­i­cated lead­er­ship, Mike has accom­plished just that. He has put the right peo­ple in the right posi­tions to make Now Courier one of the top courier com­pa­nies in the nation. His dream of hav­ing a solid foun­da­tion for his com­pany to grow on was accom­plished through hard work, ded­i­ca­tion, and the trust that he puts into each and every one of Now Courier’s employ­ees and dri­vers 365 days a year. Mike has a degree in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion from the Uni­ver­sity of Ken­tucky. Other than the deliv­ery world, Mike’s pas­sions are hunt­ing, fish­ing, and golf….although you may still catch him out there mak­ing a deliv­ery when duty calls.

John Durbin Exec­u­tive Vice Pres­i­dent
As the Exec­u­tive Vice Pres­i­dent of Now Courier, John Durbin is respon­si­ble for all finan­cial aspects of the Com­pany. He also has ulti­mate respon­si­bil­ity for the suc­cess and growth of all admin­is­tra­tive, oper­a­tional and sales func­tions for the cor­po­rate office as well as our seven branch offices. With John’s exten­sive back­ground in the bank­ing indus­try and 20+ years of expe­ri­ence in the courier indus­try, he is a valu­able asset to Now Courier. Through his ded­i­ca­tion and lead­er­ship, the Com­pany has remained suc­cess­ful over the years and he con­tin­ues to play a sig­nif­i­cant role in guid­ing the Company’s future direc­tion and oppor­tu­ni­ties for growth. John grad­u­ated from More­head State Uni­ver­sity with a degree in Eco­nom­ics and a minor in Polit­i­cal Science.

Ryan Schwal­bach Vice Pres­i­dent of Sales
In his cur­rent role as Vice Pres­i­dent of Sales, Ryan is respon­si­ble for the solid and sta­ble growth of Now Courier each and every day. While Ryan is involved in almost every aspect of the busi­ness at this point, he lit­er­ally started off on the ground floor with the Com­pany. Some of his first jobs, while still in high school, included sweep­ing out box trucks and vans, mak­ing deliv­er­ies, run­ning routes in the sum­mers through­out col­lege, assem­bling the rack­ing for the ware­house and any­thing else that needed to be done. Grow­ing up around the Com­pany, Ryan learned the true mean­ing of hard work, ded­i­ca­tion and achiev­ing goals. As he con­tin­ues to gain knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence of the indus­try, he is focused on build­ing a team and model that can take the Com­pany to the next level. His love for what his par­ents have built will always be what dri­ves him going for­ward. His own per­sonal desire to make Now the best in the indus­try is what will take Now Courier into the future and beyond. Ryan grad­u­ated from Miami Uni­ver­sity in Oxford, OH with his Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence degree in Oper­a­tions Man­age­ment. Prior to start­ing his “offi­cial career” with Now Courier as a Super­vi­sor in the Rout­ing Depart­ment, Ryan worked as a Man­age­ment Trainee for Cin­tas First Aid and Safety, Cincin­nati, OH.
